About the UK Sponsor Directory

This directory lists organisations licensed by the UK Home Office to sponsor workers on the Skilled Worker and Temporary Worker immigration routes. The data is checked daily against the official GOV.UK Register of Licensed Sponsors; the latest local import completed on 11 August 2026.

What is a Sponsor Licence?

A Sponsor Licence allows UK employers to hire skilled workers from outside the UK. Companies must apply for and maintain their licence to sponsor visa applications for foreign nationals.

How to Use This Directory Responsibly

Being listed here means an organisation appears on the Home Office sponsor register; it does not mean the organisation is currently hiring, willing to sponsor every role, or able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for your circumstances. Use the directory to build a shortlist, then confirm the role, salary, occupation code, licence rating and sponsorship policy directly with the employer before you apply.

For stronger results, start with your occupation and location rather than browsing the full register. Filter by city, industry and visa route, open each sponsor profile, then compare the sponsor's official website or careers page with the licence details shown here. If a company asks you to pay for a job offer, Certificate of Sponsorship, or guaranteed placement, treat it as a warning sign and read our guide to avoiding fake sponsorship offers.

What Makes This Page Different from the GOV.UK CSV?

The official GOV.UK file is the primary source and should always be treated as authoritative. This site adds a searchable interface, location and industry filters, recent-change views, and plain-English explanations of ratings and routes. The aim is to make public government data easier to search and understand, not to replace legal, immigration or recruitment advice.
