Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help me get a visa or find a sponsor?
We're purely an information resource – not immigration lawyers, recruiters, or visa agents. We can't help you secure a job offer, prepare visa applications, or connect you with employers. What we can do is give you the data to research which companies hold sponsor licences, so you can target your own job search more effectively. For legal advice, speak with a qualified immigration solicitor registered with OISC or the SRA.
My company just got a sponsor licence – how do I add it here?
You don't need to do anything! We sync directly with the official Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors every day. Once your licence appears on the GOV.UK list (which typically happens within a few days of approval), your company will show up in our database automatically. If it's been more than a week and you're still not listed, double-check your licence status on the official register first, then let us know.
Can I get my company removed from this site?
The sponsor register is public government data published under the Open Government Licence, so we're legally allowed to republish it. That said, we understand some companies prefer not to be easily searchable. If you'd like your company page de-indexed from search engines or hidden from our site, use the contact form above with "Report Data Error" selected and explain your request. We'll review it and get back to you within a few business days.
How often is your sponsor data updated?
We refresh our database daily, pulling directly from the official GOV.UK source. The Home Office typically updates the register once or twice a week, so if a company's status changed very recently, it might take a few days to reflect here. For time-sensitive decisions, always double-check against the official register at gov.uk.
