Description
Loughshore Vegetables has been a thriving family run business since it was established over 26 years ago by County Tyrone farmer Pat Cushnahan on the shores of Lough Neagh. Starting with the packaging of whole vegetables and whole soup mixes for local shops and small independent supermarkets in a small outbuilding at the family home with a single delivery van on the road the operation quickly grew. With a growing demand for his premium fresh locally grown produce and after identifying further opportunities for prepared vegetables Pat developed his product range to meet this expanding market. In the early days most of the work was meticulously carried out by hand before prudent investment in innovative technology and expansion into purpose built facilities on the family farm enabled the development of the renowned company Loughshore is today. Keen to support the growth in the business Pat's son Oliver at just 16 years old was quick to join the family business and went into partnership with his father in 1990. The business has grown steadily with a fleet of six vans covering NI & RoI.
